Not all signings work in football, and early signs have shown that not all of Naturena’s new talents will succeed as Glamor Boys.

Moreover, fans and local pundits have made it clear that Kaizer Chiefs need more talent to become Mzansi’s best team.

There are question marks over the depth and quality of central midfield, wide and in the strike zone.

Here is a list of proven and in-form PSL players:

  1. Sibongiseni Mthethwa, 31, Stellensbosch FC – Defensive Midfielder – Cover for Njabulo Blom.
  2. Katlego Otladisa, 25, Marumo Gallants – Winger – Cover for Kgaogelo Sekgota.
  3. Khanyisa Mayo, 24, Cape Town City – Forward – Take on Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat.
  4. Karim Kimvuidi, 20, Maritzburg United – Attacking Midfielder – Rivals Billiat and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
  5. Pule Mmodi, 23, Golden Arrows – Winger – Compete with Sekgota.

Meanwhile, Zwane’s team plans a trip to Cape Town to fight Stellenbosch FC on Sundays at 3:30 p.m..
