Death inquest

• A reported death in the 400 block of Southwest 15th Street just after 8:40 a.m. on November 17 is being investigated.

Hit and run

• A hit and run was reported in the 100 block of North Market Boulevard at approximately 10:35 am on November 17.

• A hit and run was reported at the intersection of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest State Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. on November 18.

• A car reportedly hit a pedestrian with a cart full of items in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue around 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 18 and fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

Disorderly conduct

• A report of disorderly conduct made in the 500 block of Southwest Washington Avenue just before 1 p.m. Nov. 17 is being investigated.

• A subject was cited for disorderly conduct just after 10 a.m. on November 18 after allegedly throwing items off counters and yelling at an employee in the 300 block of Northwest Park Street.

• A report of disorderly conduct made in the 1200 block of Bishop Road at approximately 5:05 p.m. on November 18 is being investigated.

Flight

• A second degree burglary reported in the 500 block of South Market Boulevard at 2:00 pm on November 17 is being investigated.

• A subject was cited for third degree robbery in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 3:40 p.m. on November 17th.

• A vehicle theft reported in the 1900 block of South Market Boulevard just before 6:25 am on November 18 is being investigated.

• A second degree burglary reported in the 1900 block of South Market Boulevard at 8:15 am on November 18 is being investigated.

• A third-degree robbery was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before noon on November 18.

• A third-degree robbery was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 6:20 p.m. on November 18.

CENTRAL POLICE DEPARTMENT

Malevolent Mischief

• A flat tire was reported in the 300 block of North Pearl Street just after 8:45 am on November 17.

• A subject was arrested in the 200 block of West Maple Street just before 4 p.m. on November 17 and was taken to the Lewis County Jail for allegedly damaging property and embarrassing an official.

Flight

• Merchandise was reported stolen in the 1400 block of Lum Road at 10:25 am on November 17th.

• A minor was arrested in the 800 block of South Tower Avenue at 5:20 p.m. on November 17 and was taken to the Lewis County Juvenile Center for allegedly stealing marijuana products and smoking devices.

• Candy was reported stolen from the 1300 block of South Gold Street just before 1:20 p.m. on November 18.

• A red 1993 Ford Escort was reported stolen from the 100 block of South Silver Street just after 3:10 p.m. on November 18. The vehicle was later recovered in Thurston County.

Aggression

• A subject was arrested in the 2800 block of Russell Road just before 10:55 p.m. on November 17 and was taken to the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth degree assault and domestic violence.

DUI

• John K. Baker, 55, of Tacoma, was arrested at the intersection of Centralia College Boulevard and South Pearl Street at 2:15 a.m. on November 19 and was taken to the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under influence.

LEWIS COUNTY PRISON STATISTICS

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total population of 140 inmates, including 122 in the general population and 18 in the Work Ethics and Restitution Center. Of the general population inmates, 105 were male and 17 were female. All WERC inmates were male.
