New restaurants and stores open at Elk Grove Mall

A mall in Elk Grove welcomes more new tenants; a sandwich franchise will soon debut in Elk Grove; and a popular furniture chain recently opened in the city.

Cosmetics retailer Sephora recently opened its location at The Ridge on Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road, adjacent to the nearly 42,000 square foot Amazon Fresh supermarket currently under construction.

Sephora is just one of many new additions to The Ridge, including Bay Area franchise restaurant Nick The Greek. The new casual dining and take-out location adds to the chain’s growing list of Sacramento-area locations, including locations in Davis and Roseville.

Running outfitter Fleet Feet will soon be doing the short jog from the Laguna Gateway South Mall on Laguna Boulevard to The Ridge, window signage shows. His new location is slated for the same row as Nick The Greek and another recent Ridge entry, Mayweather Boxing Fitness.

In the meantime, The Ridge is awaiting a new Curry Up Now location and Buffalo Wild Wings is set to open its newest corner in the center on Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road.

In Laguna Gateway South, the Earl of Sandwich sandwich franchise is close to an opening date, with signage already posted and a request for liquor sales in the works.

For Florida-based Earl of Sandwich, the Elk Grove location will be the northernmost in California. Others are in the Bay Area and Southern California, according to its website.

At the bustling Laguna Crossroads Mall on Laguna Boulevard and Bruceville Road, Bob’s Discount Furniture opened its 32,000+ square foot showroom in late April.

The Connecticut-based home furnishings chain has a presence at Crossroads Center with the recent move of Bath and Body Works from the Marketplace 99 mall on East Stockton Boulevard.
