tvN has shared an in-depth look at the relationships between the characters in “The Killer’s Shopping List”!
Based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young, “The Killer’s Shopping List” is a crime comedy thriller about an ordinary neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul. When a mysterious body is discovered near an apartment building, a supermarket receipt becomes a key piece of evidence that sparks an entertaining hunt for the killer.
The recently released character charts give a detailed look at the various characters in the upcoming drama and how they know each other.
Lee Kwang Soo stars in the drama Ahn Dae Sung, a cashier at MS Mart, a supermarket owned by his mother Han Myung Sook (played by Jin Hee Kyung). His father Ahn Young Choon (Shin Sung Woo) operates a fruit and vegetable truck.
AAO Seolhyun plays the role of Ahn Dae Sung’s girlfriend, Do Ah Hee, an avid policeman. Lee Yoon Hee plays fellow police officer Kim Doo Hyun, who works closely with Detective Choi Ji Woong (Bae Myung Jin).
Other MS Mart employees include Jung Wook (Lee Kyo Yeob), a gym rat and arts student, who has a one-sided crush on Ya Chae (Oh Hye won), a former beauty pageant contestant.
Kim Mi Hwa plays Gong San, who juggles between two jobs and knows everything about everything. Jo Aram (former gugudan member Hyeyeon) plays the employee simply known as the “part-timer,” who loves hip-hop and shows off her strength. Fashionista Saeng Sun is played by Park Ji Bin, who also likes to sing trot.
Then come the locals. Ryu Yeon Seok plays Seo Chun Kyu, the CEO of Venus Real Estate. Ahn Se Bin plays Seo Yool, who is frequently seen on his board around town. There is also the mysterious “Nunchuck” grandfather, Yang Soon (Moon Hee Kyung), the president of the neighborhood women’s society, Lee Kyung Ah (former 4Minute member Kwon So Hyun), a regular at MS Mart, and Kwon Bo Yeon, a teacher at the neighborhood daycare center.
“The Killer’s Shopping List” will premiere on April 27 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
