Shopping cart

It’s a miracle – the Epic Games Store now has a shopping cart

It’s a legendary day in the world of video game news. If you can believe it, the Epic Games Store now has a shopping cart feature. This long-awaited addition to one of the biggest PC video game platforms comes only three years after the Epic Games Store’s initial release.

For those of you who don’t know, the shopping cart feature allows you to add multiple items to a digital shopping cart at once! Then, when you’re ready to buy the games you want, you can do it all at once!

Those of you who’ve braved a real store recently, rather than ordering everything through Deliveroo or Amazon, might be familiar with the concept. It works much like a shopping cart you’d find in a Tescos or Lidl, but without dodgy wheels or chewing gum stuck in the coin slot.

If you’re still not sure how it works, don’t worry: the Epic Games team has written instructions that will walk you through it.

If you can figure it out, there’s actually more. You see, the update also comes with a wishlist feature that lets you add games you might want to play in the future to a personal wishlist linked to your account. wow!

You know, the Epic Games Store is getting a lot of flack, but with this update paired with the truly awesome lineup of free games, it’s safe to say the platform is firmly established as a viable competitor to Steam. All kidding aside, the selection of free games is lush, and you should also check out The Game Awards sale that they also have going on.
