Coca-Cola next on Elon Musk’s shopping list?

After buying micro-blogging site Twitter, tech billionaire Elon Musk, in a series of amusing tweets, joked that he would then buy Coca-Cola and “put the cocaine back in”.

Over the past few hours, the tweet has received over 2 million likes and 455,000 retweets.

“Then I buy Coca-Cola to put cocaine back in,” Musk wrote on the microblogging site.

He also shared a screenshot that read, “Now I’m going to buy McDonald’s and fix all the ice cream machines.”

However, the Tesla CEO said it was unlikely he could make it happen. “Look, I can’t do miracles, OK,” he told his followers.

In another tweet, he said, “Let’s make Twitter have fun.”

On Monday, Twitter announced Monday that it has reached a definitive agreement to be acquired by an entity wholly owned by Musk for $54.20 per share in cash in a deal valued at nearly $44 billion.

Following the transaction, Twitter will become a private company.

The purchase price represents a 38% premium to Twitter’s closing price on April 1, which was the last trading day before Musk disclosed his nearly 9% stake in the platform.
